Discover the places, moments and creative processes behind the WeylerArt collections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">URBAN STORIES \u2014 On Location<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Finding the extraordinary in familiar places.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Travelling is as much about discovering atmosphere as it is about reaching a destination. I am drawn to places where history, architecture and everyday life meet \u2014 where weathered stone, unexpected light and quiet details reveal the character of a city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Bonifacio, Corsica, the contrast between the ancient citadel and the modern harbour caught my attention. A passing yacht, the massive limestone fortifications and the fading evening light came together in a moment that captured something distinctive about this Mediterranean town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Photography often begins with simply being there, observing and recognising when the elements fall into place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 720;\" width=\"1280\" autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/stan-weyler.com\/collection\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/TIM7342_The-Citadel-at-Bonifacio-with-Super-Yacht-video.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">A fleeting moment in Bonifacio&#8217;s harbour \u2014 where contemporary life meets centuries of history.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WILD ELEMENTS \u2014 In the Wild<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Experiencing nature, not just photographing it.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Much of my nature photography begins far from the studio \u2014 beside mountain streams, on alpine trails or in quiet places where the smallest details can become unexpectedly fascinating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moving water is particularly captivating. Its energy, changing patterns and endless variations create moments that can never be repeated in exactly the same way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Capturing these scenes often means working in demanding conditions: cold water, slippery rocks, changing light and the unpredictable forces of nature. Yet these experiences are part of what makes the photographs meaningful to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From the power of a mountain torrent to the delicate structure of a flower, I am searching for the extraordinary beauty that nature reveals when we take the time to look closely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"720\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1280 \/ 720;\" width=\"1280\" autoplay loop muted src=\"https:\/\/stan-weyler.com\/collection\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/20210615_TIM7340-video-Alpine-Waterfall-Wall-Art-Frozen-Water-Spray-Print-Swiss-Alps-Photography-Wild-River-Splash-Abstract-Emerald-N.mp4\" playsinline><\/video><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The raw energy of alpine meltwater \u2014 a glimpse of the conditions behind the Water in Motion series.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">COSMIC VISIONS \u2014 From Earth to the Universe<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Real photographs. Imagined worlds.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The origins of Cosmic Visions lie beneath the clear winter skies of the Swiss Alps. On cold, cloudless nights, I photograph the Milky Way and the full moon, capturing real fragments of the universe from here on Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other elements come from much closer surroundings \u2014 shapes, textures and structures found in the natural world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through digital composition, these separate photographs gradually become something entirely new. Familiar earthly forms transform into imagined planets, galaxies and celestial phenomena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The process combines observation, photographic technique and creative experimentation.
